HyperOS marks a significant leap forward for Xiaomi from its previous user interface, MIUI. This fresh interface, initially based on Android 14, is set to enhance the user experience across Xiaomi devices. The rollout is expected to happen gradually through over-the-air updates, ensuring that all eligible Xiaomi devices can seamlessly transition to the new HyperOS.
Xiaomi's venture into electric vehicles includes the SU7, which will run on the HyperOS interface. Introduced in China alongside the Xiaomi 14 series in October 2023, HyperOS underscores Xiaomi's commitment to placing "people in the center of an ecosystem," expanding beyond smartphones. Notably, Xiaomi has been diligently working on developing this software since 2014, with a specific focus on accommodating the Internet of Things (IoT).
HyperOS's design has drawn comparisons to Apple's iOS, encompassing elements from the lock screen to notification pop-ups and the control center. This interface is crafted to deliver a seamless and user-centric experience across various devices within Xiaomi's ecosystem. Get ready for an enhanced digital journey with Xiaomi's innovative HyperOS starting early next year.
